Animals from A to Z

This powerpoint shows pictures of animals but not in every letter from A to Z because in the English class we had chosen some "bugs" for some specific letters.
This presentation was so that the kids could see what some animals looked like and how to spell the names in English so that the Animal Pictionary we were doing could have all the letters.

Esta presentación muestra imágenes de animales pero no en todas las letras desde la A hasta la Z porque en la clase de inglés ya habíamos escogido y aprendido "bichos - insectos" en algunas letras concretas.
Esta presentación era para que l@s choc@s pudiesen ver como eran algunos animales y cómo se deletreaban sus nombres en inglés para que el Diccionario Visual de Animales que estábamos haciendo pudiese tener todas las letras.

BUGS

"Small gugs, big animals" is the name we gave to the English proyect and the LIM book we made to work with the school and library proyect "Menuda bichería!"
We practised it in the English class with teacher Carmen and with Teacher john as well (he lent his voice) and we learnt to draw the insects that appeared there for our Animal Pictionary.
The LIM is shown in the English class blog but you can play with it if you click on the picture.

"Small bugs, big animals" es el título del proyecto de ingés y del libro LIM que hicimos en el cole este año para trabajar el proyecto "Menuda Bichería!" proposto por la Biblioteca.
Lo practicamos en la clase de inglés con la teacher Carmen y el teacher John (que puso su voz) y aprendimos a dibujar los insectos que allí aparecieron para nuestro Diccionario Visual.

Brown bear activities.

 

This year we learnt "Brown bear, brown bear " story in the first grade to make a storytelling to other pupils at school.

We also made a minibook, ilustrated it and used to learn the story.

I am thankful for ...

This is the sentence we practiced for Thanksgiving. We also listened to teacher John talking about how he celebrates this festival date in USA.

WELCOME TEACHER !

The new teacher is here. 

His name is John and he comes from Washington in the United States.
Can you find the state of Washington in the map? It's in pink colour.

He lives near Seatle. Look at the picture.

HALLOWEEN

We made this hounted houses for Halloween. Each of us made the stencil for the house and then decided what figures we were going to put on it.
Later we draw the letters, trees and  built the poster with our village.

Hicimos estas casas encantadas para Halloween.
Cada uno de nosotros hizo la plantilla para su casa y decidió que figuras/ elementos iba a poner sobre ella.
Luego dibujamos las letras, los árboles y construímos el cartel de nuestra aldea.

WELCOME BACK

Our assistant teacher this year hasn't arrived. We are waiting for him but "burocracy" is slow in the USA and he can't fly to Spain yet. As soon as he has his "papers", he will be here.

Nuestro profe auxiliar para este curso escolar aún no llegó. Estamos esperándolo pero la "burocracia" es lenta en EE UU y él no puede volar a España todavía. Tan pronto él tenga sus "papeles", él estará aquí.

This was Teacher Sarah last week at school. We played this revision game with her. We practised a lot about things we learnt this year.

Esta fue la última semana de la Teacher Sarah en el colegio. Jugamos con ella este juego para repasar. Practicamos un montón de vocabulario de lo que aprendimos este año.

ST. GEORGE' S STORY MINIBOOK

When we studied about England, Teacher Sarah told us St. George's Story. When we celebrated Book' s day at school we created our very own minibooks telling the story. Here are two minibooks combining diferent pages in different minibooks from 1st and 2nd level.

Cuando estudiamos Inglaterra la teacher Sarah nos contó la historia de San Jorge, su patrón. Luego, cuando celebramos el Día del Libro, creamos nuestros propios minilibros contando la historia.
