MORE PIRATES

In our art classes we also did lots of work relating pirates! We made a spyglass, a sword and a hat ready for carnival.
After carnival we continued working with the topic in arts and made our very own version of the LIM memory game and we loved playing it!

¡En la clase de plástica también hicimos un montón de trabajo relacionado con Piratas! Hicimos un catalejo, un sable y un sombrero para preparar el Carnaval.
Después del Carnaval continuamos trabajando con el tema en las clases de Plástica e hicimos nuestra propia versión del juego de memoria del libro LIM y ... ¡nos encantó jugar con él!

       

Finally in art classes we made a treasure map with lots of  hidden treasure and clues! We even made them look old and real!

Finalmente en la clase de Plástica hicimos un mapa de tesoro con un montón de pistas y tesoros escondidos. ¡Incluso hicimos que pareciesen viejos y auténticos!

ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Not long after St. David's day we celebrated St Patrick's Day on the 17th of March.
Everything was green! We saw the difference between the two parts of Ireland's Island and learnt the flags for both contries. Finally we also saw the traditional Irish dancing, which we liked a lot!

No mucho tiempo después del Día de San David celebramos el Día de San Patricio en el 17 de Marzo.
¡Todo estaba verde! Miramos la diferenciaentre las dos partes de la isla de Irlanda y aprendimos las banderas para ambos países. Finalmente vimos también una danza tradicional irlandesa, que nos gustó mucho.

ST. DAVID'S DAY

The 1^st of March is the feast day o St. David who is the patron saint of wales. We saw how Wales has their own language, that they are famous for lots of castles and beaches. We learnt the name of the national flower "Daffodil" too.

El día 1 de Marzo se celebra la fiesta de San david, que es el santo patrón de Gales. Vimos como ellos tienen su propia lengua, y son famosos por sus castillos y playas.  Aprendimos también el nombre de la flor nacional, el narciso.
